met ...after several preliminary meetings, decided to organize The
Farmers Mutual Insurance Association of Washington County for the
purpose of insuring farm property at reasonable rates. In 1961 - We
began insuring town property. Now, 132 years later, we are still
fulfilling the purpose for which the association was founded...to
